My Goals I have been interested in comic books and animation since a very young age. I've always enjoyed how even the least of pictures can convey an idea that it would take a book several paragraphs to explain. However, it was years before I thought that I might be able to make a career of this form of art. I have long been known for my overactive imagination, as well as my love for a good story. As a child, I had a very high reading level, and constantly had my nose stuck in a book. It wasn't long before I became interested in writing my own stories and expressing my own ideas. After all, my skills in writing and in English throughout school had been above average. Unfortunatly, I realized that I was too impatient to write for a living (even though, I still keep that option open). I found that I had a fair amount of talent in Art, though I was often too embarrassed draw very often. It wasn't until I was older that I summoned up the courage to develop my artistic talents. Gaining skill and experience is still one of my top priorities as an artist. I am currently trying to find work on a comic project in order to gain exposure to the industry and to expand my talents. Eventually, I would like to see some of my own ideas published, or possibly explore the fields of cartooning or movies. |
